Verizon’s LG Optimus LTE II has been revealed in a number of leaked images ahead of its official unveiling. Codenamed the LG VS930, the device will reportedly ship with Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich pre-installed, and could get an official announcement this Friday, July 13.

In addition to Ice Cream Sandwich, the Optimus LTE II is expected to feature a 4.7-inch “True HD IPS” display with a 1280 x 720 resolution, a 1.5GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 MSM8960 processor, and 1GB of RAM. It will have 16GB of internal storage, according to a source for Engadget, an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera, and NFC connectivity with programmable tags.

Furthermore, the Optimus LTE II is expected to boast global radio support, allowing it to connect to GSM, UMTS, CDMA, and LTE networks worldwide. The device is expected to measure just 9.2mm thick.

As you can see from the images above, which were obtained by Engadget, the handset appears to be ready to make its debut. This certainly isn’t a prototype device. Accompanying those images is a service manual for the device (PDF).

The source of these images claims the Optimus LTE II could launch on Verizon as soon as July 13.
